Call for Nominations · Terms Beginning 2027

There are 3 Board Member positions up for election this year.

Each term is for 2 years, beginning January 1, 2027.

Board service offers an opportunity to influence NBA operations, share your ideas, and put your creative energy to work on committees supporting Lunch and Learn, the Car Show, the Parade, Restaurant Week, Governance, attend Ribbon Cuttings and more. As a bonus you get to work closely with a fabulous group of NBA members.

Board members must:

• Attend monthly board meetings on the second Tuesday of each month, from 9:30–11:00 a.m., in Newtown.
• Actively participate in committee work and help carry projects through to completion.
• Dedicate time and energy to advancing the NBA’s mission and supporting its members.

We are looking for people who bring enthusiasm, follow-through, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and contribute.

Eligibility: Candidates must be active NBA members in good standing for at least six (6) months prior to nomination.

To be included on the ballot, nominate yourself or another NBA member using the form by midnight, Friday, November 6th. Nominees will be contacted to confirm. Candidates will be asked for a brief bio and a statement on why they would like to join the NBA Board (200 words or less).

Candidate information will be posted here and announced via email on Thursday, November 19th, when online voting opens.
