FOR PRESIDENT

Dave Marcolla (incumbent)
Proud to be the current NBA President and Founder of the Emerging Leaders young professionals networking and development committee, I am a local Realtor, Associate Broker and Principal of the Dave Marcolla Group at Keller Williams Real Estate - Newtown, the #1 producing team at our brokerage. Experience in the local community includes past First Night Newtown Co-Chair, Rotarian, BCCC Tyler Tasting Committee Member, Newtown Economic Development Council Member, and prior manager of both TD Bank branches in the township when they were Commerce Bank. I'm a Leadership Program graduate of the Lower and Central Bucks County Chambers and received my Bachelor's Degree in marketing from Bloomsburg University and MBA from La Salle University. I currently serve as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia and as a Corporate Member of the Newtown Historic Association.
FOR VICE PRESIDENT

Dan Petty - Vice President (incumbent)
Serving as a board member in 2021 and VP in 2022 afforded me the luxury of having a front-row seat as our community came together to bounce back from the uncertainties of 2020. I am running for VP again for 2023 because I believe we still have a great deal of work to do to make sure our community is thriving greater than ever and I’m passionate about leading that initiative. I currently serve as Co-chair of the NBA Business Card Exchange committee and Co-Chair of the NBA Car Show committee. Both of these committees give our organization many opportunities to connect our community, build local businesses, and foster friendships which are the three stated goals of the NBA. I plan to build on my passion and experience to further the great work we have already accomplished by leading our wonderful volunteers again in the future.
FOR TREASURER

Fred Poritsky (incumbent)
As I enter my eighth year in business and as a member of the NBA, I continue to learn more and more about small businesses and how the NBA runs. I have enjoyed my tenure as a Board Member and this year I have decided to run for re-election to the Treasurer position. My accounting background is a good fit for this important position in the NBA. 2022 will be my eighth year as Co-Chair of Welcome Day and I have been able to see first-hand how the NBA and its volunteers operate. I have made many friends and valuable business contacts since I joined, and I look forward to helping the organization and its members grow their businesses in the coming years. I am also happy to share my knowledge of web design, SEO, email marketing and social media marketing with the organization.
FOR BOARD MEMBER: Choose 4 when you vote.
4 with the most votes will be for 2-year terms.

Steve Sabel (incumbent)
My name is Steve Sabel and I represent The Payroll Factory. For the past year, it has been an honor to be a part of the Newtown Business Association Board and chair of the Breakfast Committee. I have been a part of the fabric of Newtown for over 33 years, living in Newtown Township and also being a part of the Newtown Rotary Club. The NBA is a part of my business model and goals. That is why you see me at a number of events such as the Business Card Exchange but also volunteering at the Car Show, Holiday Parade and Welcome Day to name a few. As chair of the Breakfast Committee, our 2023 monthly meetings will be out of the box with venues, sponsors, and speakers. I seek re-election to the board to continue raising the bar and awareness of the Newtown Business Association as the most talked about community business association in the region. “Whatever it takes.” “Service above self.”

Greg Kramer (incumbent)
I have owned a local Newtown based insurance agency for over 20 years. I have served on many large organization committees, including a national advisory board for a Fortune 100 business. At the start of the pandemic, I worked with the NBA and the Emerging leaders group to ensure the NBA did not collapse and continued to have meaningful and safe events. As the community reopened, I was able to take a seat on the board and help all committees with growth and ideas that foster our great organization. I'm currently trying to restart the retailers committee and help wherever I’m needed.

Brian Phillips
Supporter of local businesses and community initiatives; always looking for ways to bring additional value to those that call our community home. Excited for more involvement in Newtown!

“Joining the board would be an honor,” says Heather. “I’ve found volunteering is one of the best ways to make a difference. If elected, I’ll focus on growing the association’s visibility within the local community and encouraging new businesses to join and engage in all NBA has to offer.”

Jay Falconio
Jay Falconio has been with Remco since February 2020. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management in 2014, and from Milton S. Hershey Medical Center with a Master of Nutritional Science in 2015. In his current position, Jay oversees and coordinates activities within the Operations and Human Resources Department.
Prior to joining Remco, Jay spent 5 years post-grad managing and growing an e-commerce meal delivery service at Fit Fuel Foods, LLC. With the unconventional industry career change, Jay holds Pennsylvania State licenses as a Registered Dietitian and a Property and Casualty Insurance Agent. He’s the one-stop shop for decreasing your car insurance and your waist size.

Leah Patterson
I grew up in Bucks County and one of my favorite memories is going to The Grange Fair every year with my family and stopping at Goodnoe's for ice cream on the way home. This was when I first fell in love with Newtown. I was very excited when I took my position at Playa Bowlsto bring me back to Newtown and joining the NBA was one of the first things I did as GM. I have since been a Partner Sponsor for 3 years and an active member. I would be honored to be on the board so I can be more involved in all the great things that the association does for Newtown. I hope to bring some fresh, new ideas to the group and continue to grow myself and the association to its fullest potential.
