Line Cook

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Prepping food and plating dishes according to the restaurant’s menu specifications
• Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies for the shift
• Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Preparation of products, this includes chopping vegetables, breaking down, cutting or chopping meat, weighing, portioning and mixing ingredients, washing and preparing vegetables, storing food
• Prepare recipes according to the recipes in the recipe book
• Prepares guests orders accurately inclusive of requested modifications
• Prepares dishes accurately and expeditiously to meet our ticket time goals (5-8 when slow, 8-10 when moderately busy, 15 when busy)
• Restocks station and cleans during down time
• Adheres to company specified recipes, cooking procedures, techniques, cooking times and temperatures
• Trains new hires with enthusiasm and patience, in adherence to the TP training manual and TP standards
• Sells food only of best quality and to correct spec
• Assisting other coworkers and managers as needed
• Clean and sanitize food prep/workstations and equipment
• Maintains composure during times of stress
• Is respectful towards all team members and managers regardless of challenging guests
• Never speaks poorly of any guest, the company, or employee
