Parade Day Information
Sunday, December 7, 2025 • 12:00–3:15 PM • Newtown, PA
The annual Newtown Holiday Parade, sponsored by the NAC, and hosted by the Newtown Business Association, provides a magical experience and brings together residents and local businesses to celebrate the season — featuring the Mummers, floats, music, family fun, and a special visit from Santa. Free for spectators!
This parade is a great opportunity for local businesses to get involved and for families to line the streets to watch a spectacular event. In past years, over 60 groups have participated, totaling over 1,800 participants. Come out and find a comfy spot to watch this amazing event.
Join the holiday spirit — dress as Buddy the Elf, Kevin McCallister, the Grinch, Ralphie, Frosty, or Cindy Lou Who. Please do not dress as Santa (he arrives at the end!). Come early for an unforgettable day filled with festive fun! ✨ Enjoy face painting, balloons, treats for our furry friends, hot cocoa, warm drinks, candy, and more before the parade.
Let’s celebrate, dance, and spread joy this holiday season!
Parade Route: The parade promptly kicks off at 12:00 PM from South State Street at the Stocking Works. The Parade moves north and makes a left on Washington Avenue and then turns right onto Sycamore Street, ending at the corner of Sycamore St. and Durham Rd. Parade announcers will be located at Goodnoe Corner next to the Green Parrot.
Check back soon for more about parking and viewing areas!
